This Privacy Notice for California Residents is provided to supplement the KYsee.io Privacy Policy and applies solely to individuals who reside in the State of California (“Consumers” or “you”).

KYsee.io (“KYsee”, “we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal information either:
- as a Data Processor / Service Provider, acting on documented instructions from our business customers (the Data Controllers), or
- as a Data Controller, when we collect personal information directly (e.g. via our website, sales, support, or marketing interactions).
This Notice should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Terms used in this Notice have the meanings defined in the California Privacy Laws.

If KYsee acts as a Data Processor, such requests should generally be directed to the relevant Data Controller (our client). KYsee will assist the Data Controller as required by law.

- If KYsee is acting as a Data Controller, deletion requests may be submitted directly to us.
- If KYsee is acting as a Data Processor, deletion requests must be submitted to the Data Controller, who will instruct KYsee accordingly.
Right to Correction (Rectification)
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained about you.
Requests should be directed to:
- KYsee directly, where we act as Data Controller; or
- The Data Controller, where KYsee acts as Data Processor.
Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information
Where applicable, you may request that the use of sensitive personal information be limited to purposes permitted under California law.
If KYsee is acting as a Data Processor, such requests must be directed to the Data Controller.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing
KYsee does not sell personal information within the meaning of the California Privacy Laws.
Where KYsee acts as a Service Provider / Data Processor, we process personal information only for the limited and specified purposes defined by our clients and contractual obligations.
Right to Non-Discrimination
KYsee will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under the California Privacy Laws. This includes no denial of services, no different pricing, and no reduction in service quality.
Right to Initiate a Private Cause of Action
California residents may have the right to bring a private action in the event of certain data security incidents, as provided under California law.
Sources of Personal Information
KYsee collects personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from end-users, where clients instruct end-users to submit information through KYsee’s platform
- From clients, who provide end-user data to KYsee in accordance with contractual terms

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide:
- Proof of authorization signed by the Consumer, or
- Valid power of attorney under California law
KYsee reserves the right to verify both the agent’s authority and the Consumer’s identity.
